Regular globe trotting angler - Shawn was to join Fish Thailand's Eddie Mounce for a lure fishing expedition to Malaysia in a week's time. Shawn being the keen angler he is allowed three days fishing in Thailand around Bangkok prior to going to Malaysia. The three venues were the always enjoyable Shadow Lake for monster stipies followed by two new venues; Pilot 111 & Prapradaeng Lake.
Pilot 111 offered Shawn the chance to try his new 'scary baits' creations, his own home made lures. Pleased with the results his lures had with the giant snakehead, the next venue to get some casting practice in preparation for the Malaysian giants was Prapradaeng Lake.
A new venue and supposedly a tough lure venue, Shawn found the fishing reasonably easy, tempting 26 hard fighting barramundi to 16lb from a lightly stocked large body of water!
