With two days available for fishing in Bangkok, Mark decided upon the most popular combination; a day fishing Bungsamran followed by a day fishing Boon Mar Ponds.
Bungsamran was the battle ground for Mekong catfish, a tiring day filled with relief each time the net is slipped under a fish, and exhaustion as a few minutes later another is hooked.
A complete fishing technique & style contrast to Bungsamran, offering a different enjoyment is lure fishing for barramundi at Boon Mar Ponds. A lighter day of more finesse and aerial rod-bending action had Mark enjoying both aspects of Thailand's most popular duel fishing days.
