Thailand Fishing Holidays Itinerary

• Day 1 - Your flight lands at Bangkok international airport where you will be greeted by the Fish Thailand Team & transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle directly to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle in, relax and enjoy as you wish.

Day 1 - Private Transfer from Bangkok Airport to Hotel  (exact vehicle may vary)

• Day 2 - Fishing Bangkok at Bungsamran Lake for giant Mekong catfish, striped catfish & Siamese giant carp. Your day fishing at Bungsamran is guaranteed to hook you up with some enormous fish, at this venue it is normal to catch 20 - 30 catfish over 30lb each day - hence Fish Thailand offer a money back catch guarantee at this venue. Day 2 - Bangkok Fishing at Bungsamran Lake

• Day 3 - Lure Fishing in Thailand at Boon Mar Ponds targeting the mighty barramundi reaching weights of upto 20lb at this venue. Day 3 - Lure or fly Fishing for Barramundi at Boon Mar Ponds

• Days 4 to 6 (Jun - Sep) Jungle Lure Fishing Safari at Khao Laem Dam in the Kanchanaburi Province of Thailand. These 1 full days fishing and 2 half days fishing (2 days travel) at Khao Lam Dam will most likely be the most beautiful fishing scenery you are to discover. Fishing in Thailand from June to September the target species are giant Snakehead, striped snakehead & jungle perch - no other freshwater fish compares to the aggressive strikes and fight of the snakehead. • OR days 4 to 6 (Oct - Feb) Jungle Carp Fishing Safari at Khao Laem Dam. Fishing in Thailand from October to February this jungle carp fishing safari will target Indian carp (rohu) & black carp. Static bait fishing from our pre-baited carp raft this is truly every carp angler's dream carp swim amongst the mountainous jungle. Day 4-6 Jungle Fishing Safari at Khao Laem Dam in Kanchanaburi Province Giant Snakehead - Striped Snakehead - Jungle Perch - Indian Carp - Black Carp

• Day 7 - Fishing at IT Lake Monsters  Where you have the choice to either split your fishing day between the carp and predator lake or spend the full day predator fishing. Species to expect upon the carp lake include; Siamese carp, Julian's Prized Carp and Indian carp. The predator lake offers arapaima, Chao Phraya catfish, arowana, snakehead, pacu, alligator gar, redtail catfish, tiger catfish & more. Day 7 - Tackle both carp and predators or enjoy a full predator fishing day

•  Day 8 - Fishing at the Exclusive Grouper Ponds offers the only opportunity to target this species in land as embark on our trip to Sam Roi Yot. At present there are 3 individual grouper species on offer at the ponds and the abundance of each various throughout the season. Target the ponds using lures or bait fishing in search of the larger fish, some of which are in excess of 100lb. 

Day 8 - Working Lures for these ferocious predators

• Day 9 - Fishing at Jurassic Fishing Park offers the best chance of different species in excess of 100lb with the venue currently boasting 8 different species over the magical mark which include; Siamese carp, Chao Phraya catfish, Rita Salween catfish, Salween catfish and Arapaima. The lake is well kown for producing giant Siamese carp near 200lb along with Arapaima to 300lb from spacious swims all set within stunning surroundings. Day 9 - A selection of specimen sized species available at Jurassic Fishing Park

• Day 10 - Fishing at Greenfield Valey will remind you of an old English Estate lake due to the diverse flora and fauna which surrounds it. Mature treelines set the backdrop as you fish using a stick float near the rod tip to tempt the 23 different species on offer which include gourami, java barb, Amazon redtail and Siamese carp. Day 10 - This venue presents the perfect opportunity to fish the float for several species

• Day 11 - Giant Snakhead Hunt will take you to explore the natural dams and reservoirs of Phetchaburi in search of Giant snakehead along with striped snakehead and hampala barb. The exact location moniter water levels in tune with rainfalls and seasonality to select the best opportunities at the time whether it be by boat or on foot.

Day 11 - Giant snakehead hit hard on instinct

• Day 12 - Depart From Bangkok Airport to go home. Fish Thailand will transfer you from your hotel to the airport making even your last hours in Thailand as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

"I recently had the opportunity to spend 9 days fishing with the Fish Thailand team and WOW what a trip. Eddy and his team were not only the most professional and knowledgeable folks, but were tremendous to fish with and great guys to be around. The mekong and striped catfish were unbelievable.  After 3 hours I was wondering if I could make it through the day...some how I did.  We caught so many fish, and let me say huge fish, that the trip was already worth it. As a lure fisherman (mostly Bass) I was ready to try the barramundi.  What a beautiful fish, they hit most of the same lures as bass but are much more aggressive.  The late afternoon/early evening bite was out of this world.  They absolutely tore the top water baits up.  I honestly lost count on how many fish we caught! We headed out to another venue - Khao Laem Dam - for some snakehead.  The fishing was unbelievable and the area was gorgeous.  If you have fished for bass or pike in the past, you are in for a treat.  The snakehead slams a lure like you have never seen.  I have never had a fish, pound for pound, that fights or devastates a lure like a snakehead does. After 8 days of fishing you would think we had enough, but Eddy was talking about another venue - Shadow Lake.  We just had to try it out.  It is a much more relaxed area, but the striped catfish seem to be much larger.  We caught some real nice stripers, but no Mekong catfish. That is until the end...with Eddy's help I was able to bring in an 88lb monster.  Last fish, jumped in the van and was off to the airport. There is no better way to end a vacation than that!!!
