REPORT
An incredible month for carp fishing in Bangkok at Bungsamran Lake, especially for Christophe Audebeau and Kevin Pollard who spent two days each specifically targeting the Siamese carp. Of all the carp landed two well over the 100lb barrier were amongst them followed by specimens of between 40lb - 80lb from other anglers.
Monster Mekong catfish is a common occurrence which makes Bungsamran so well known and this month was no different with countless 100lb+ specimens falling to juniors, adults, families, experts & novices alike; the best of the best would have pushed over 150lb.
Meanwhile of all other Thailand fishing venues visited by anglers this month; Boon Mar Ponds was particularly on form. Jeff Love and his wife enjoyed tail-walking barramundi displays using both lure and fly fishing tactics. |
