Back to Boon Mar Ponds for a barramundi fly fishing session with US angler Lee Ann Ross. Using an 8 weight forward floating line and 30lb maxima mono leader proved a powerful and effective tool for these barramundi.

We started the day slightly later as to take full advantage of the early evening feeding spells and also the cooler time of day. With plenty of fish caught it was a cracking day and to finish with a 22lb (10kg) barramundi it was nothing less than perfect. |
