Mekong Giant Catfish Fishing
Fish Thailand guarantee fish over 30lb in a 1 day session, and although we would never guarantee fish between 80-100lb in 1 day, we do average a fish around this size every 1 in 2 trips. Today was yet another one of those day's in the 'other 50%' - resulting in Derek landing a cracking 88lb Mekong giant catfish.
Siamese Giant Carp Fishing
Fishing in Bangkok at Bungsamran for Siamese giant carp is more than a challenge. These fish are notoriously wary and hard to catch, hence it is essential for an experienced team of guides to target this fish with a fighting chance. Fish Thailand have the highest track record with landing the Siamese giant carp, this coupled with Derek bringing some birthday luck with him - we hit the jackpot in the form of a 29lb Siamese giant carp. Not a huge example of this fabulous specie but certainly one of the most beautiful. |
