This was Thomas's first time fishing in Thailand and therefore his first time fishing in Bangkok for giant Mekong catfish at Bungsamran Lake.
The fish were feeding consistantly throughout the day as the gentle breeze and clear sky made for perfect conditions.
Thomas compares the fight of the giant Mekong catfish to that of the cobia - unbelievable strength & stamina. Thomas will be writing an article about his fishing in Thailand adventure at Bungsamran in an Australian fishing magazine - he will give the article the title of 'casting cricket balls for catfish.' |
