Off-Season Carp Fishing in Thailand
Grant Norton stopped over in Bangkok to enjoy two days fishing in Bangkok at Bungsamran Lake. Although slightly out of the best carp season which is November - January, Grant was keen to try for a Siamese carp. To ensure that even if the carp did not show up there would still be plenty of action for Grant - he also fished a Mekong catfish rod which produced a few too many fish at times.
With a touch of fortune and good swim choice, Grant did indeed get through to a Siamese carp and a nice one too at over 60lb. An added bonus silver carp popped up too towards the end of the session. |
