Father Paul Banning & sons Richard & Gareth flew to Thailand for a few days fishing. Two particularly prolific days were at Bungsamran Lake fishing in Bangkok for Mekong catfish along with barramundi fishing at Boon Mar Ponds. Being a family the loving banter and competitiveness was constant as they all hooked and played specimen fish.
The barramundi fishing in Thailand is always prolific and full of action, the Mekong catfish fishing is equally prolific but quite a contrast being heavy weight fish balanced with heavy weight fishing tackle. Paul, Gareth & Richard caught approximately 90 fish between them over these couple of days - holiday to recover may be required!
