Brace of Mekongs For 166lb
Peter Rogers from England is a regular Fish Thailand client - his last fishing in Thailand experience led him to Bungsamran Lake in Bangkok where he caught Mekong catfish to over 80lb. This year Peter was keen to re-visit Bungsamran and better his previous best.
A couple of hours into the session, after only a few average size catfish had been taken, came a long steady fight. The fight continued for 20 minutes and had Peter applying all his strength to the fish, resulting in a beauty of an 80lb Mekong giant catfish in his arms!
Only an hour later and Peter found himself playing the 2nd 'biggy' of the day - this time even more powerful and weighing in at 88lb making a beautiful brace for 166lb!
