Siamese Carp Fishing
Today was Myle's first time to Bungsamran Lake in Bangkok, although he had heard rumours of the giant fish it produces for some time already. We began the day with some cracking Mekong giant catfish average the 35lb-40lb mark, Myles was in awe of their strenght.
Around midday Myles hooked into a fish that was fighting like a striped catfish on steroids which could only mean one thing: CARP!
A short but painfully hectic battle saw a beautifully conditioned 38lb Siamese giant carp in the landing net - a truely wonderful day. |
