REPORT

Return client Martin from England re-visited the ever increasingly popular circuit of Thailand fisheries. Fishing in Bangkok at Bungsamran & Shadow Lake for a day each saw Martin battle with Mekong catfish and big striped catfish to over 40lb.

Making the most of his fondness for fly fishing in Thailand, Martin tackled the ever-willing barramundi at Boon Mar Ponds before trying his luck on surface lures at Pilot 111 fishing ponds in the Bangpakong district, catching the wonderfully scary giant snakehead.

The two most unpredictable and fortunately successful days fishing were held at IT Lake Monsters in Ratchaburi. Landing a brace of huge arapaima along with several other species, it seems that Martin has only one specie to come back fishing in Thailand for - the Siamese giant carp.
